Cryptography games are a dime a dozen, but have you played one that’s centered on the quotes of historical figures and famous people? You haven’t, right? That’s why we’re hooked on Decodex! 

It offers a fun little decoding game that features great quotes that will freshen up your day. It’s simple, engaging and just the right amount of difficulty. We also interviewed its Hungarian creator a while back, so if you’re interested in creating something similar yourself, give it a listen!

Five game insights we think will pique your interest!

Snekburd is… well, a snake-bird thing that wants to eat all the fruits and goodies. It’s a fun game that combines the size increase mechanic of the classic Snake game and a simple maneuvering puzzle. But seriously, don’t look too much at the character’s face, it can be… trippy.

Quintalist is a straightforward guessing game. You’re given a topic, like the top saltiest bodies of water, or the fastest American-made cars, then you guess the top 5 and press “Submit”. The results won’t indicate which guess was which, and that’s where the challenging part starts!

MazeGPT is a maze game that features labyrinths generated by AI. Simple and calming, it’s a great way to just let go of complicated thoughts for a while and just drag your cursor along your intended path. Be warned, you can’t pass through the trail you’ve created, so if it’s a really cramped maze, you’ll have to rewind or restart to backtrack.

Trust Me, I Got This is the phrase you’d say to your buddies (or to your dad) when you’re about to do a DIY project that you yourself aren’t completely sure you can do. This game basically revolves around that mentality, and it’s really fun!

Everyone’s got something they’re passionate about, and for us, we’re just really into games. From massive RPGs to bite-sized puzzles, it’s a really versatile form of entertainment and media that just keeps itself fresh every time!
