Happy Valentine’s Day!
We hope that every couple reading this has a fun and romantic experience together. But for those who prefer to fly solo, we’ve got a game you can play that’s apt for the time—couples.game.
It’s a chain-guessing game that works by pairing together words. It’s easy to understand, play and get hooked on. But just like love, there are times it’s easy, and other times that it’s impossible, so regardless of what you’ll go through, we hope you enjoy the moment!
Coincidentally, the game was made by a real couple too, and the story behind it is as spontaneous as love itself. Check it out here!

Five game insights we think will pique your interest!

Finding your match can truly be difficult, but it is not impossible, just like you’d play in this game, Mingle. No matter how many faces are in the crowd, there’s someone out there, made for another, and all they need to do is just be in the right place and at the right time, then take the first step.
(Or, y’know, just spam spacebar ‘til something clicks? Works in real life too, surprisingly!)

When you truly love something or someone, you go through hell and back for them. And in Helltaker’s case, you literally go to hell and go back home with those you love(?). A critically acclaimed game with a distinct art style that many have downright copied, it’s fun, witty and full of character.

Have you ever felt that sometimes your sword isn’t… big enough? Do you want to have a good sword, a greatsword, if you will, that would impress even a dragon? Then get to work with Deepest Sword, solve the mazes and wield the blade you’ve always wanted to have.

There are many types of romcoms, and a lot of them have the underdog kind of theme to them, like Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Well, what if we told you that there’s a video game equivalent to that?
Instead of crushing seven exes, you fight your crush’s parents in a dance and rap battle. Friday Night Funkin’ is an old-school style rhythm game that will get your heart pumpin’!

As the season of love fills the air with a rose-tinted feeling, we hope that you can find joy in the games we’ve paired up with you today. To all our gamer friends in love, looking for love or coming out of love, we wish you the best of luck in the most difficult two-player co-op game created—romance.
And to that, we have the perfect quote from Eva Gabor, a Hungarian-American actress, voice actress and socialite:
“Love is a game that two can play and both win.”

We hope that you have a nice date with a loved one! But if you’re more into spending time with yourself and want something to tune out everything else while introspecting, this podcast episode of ours fits the bill.
If you want to learn more about what we’re up to at Hey, Good Game, you can find out more about us here.
That’s all for this week. See you next Friday!
