The NYT may be at the top of the daily word game field right now, but competitors like The LA Times are chasing strong with their own version of Spelling Bee: Wordflower.

This week’s web game pick is: Increasingly Cursed Wordle Puzzles. Many of the word game veterans and experts among you find the classic Wordle® quite dull now. Well, try this one for size!

For last week’s trivia, the answer is…The 15 Puzzle! Many hit the mark, well done! The sliding-tile puzzle was actually created around 1874 by Noyes Chapman, a postmaster in Canastota, New York. Loyd later claimed credit and offered $1,000 to anyone who could solve an arrangement that was mathematically unsolvable.
