Leaping towards the New Year
End 2024’s leap year with a good game
Time’s so fast that it’s kinda scary, isn’t it? 2024 is already ending soon, but it only feels like yesterday we were talking about the hit games that lasted beyond the pandemic. But we all know that the end of this year is the beginning of the next.
A new year for a fresh start, the threshold of exciting possibilities for everyone!
And with that, we finish this leap year with a hoppingly good time! Frogfall is about… well… a frog. And that frog is you. You need to eat up before winter starts and emerge in spring for a new beginning!
Quite apt for our final game recommendation this year, no?
Hoppy New Year!

Five game insights we think will pique your interest!

Some prefer to end the year with a bang, while others prefer quiet contemplation while droning on with a peaceful game, and jigsaw puzzles are the ideal entertainment for the latter. They’ve come a long way, and now you can play alone or with others with this online jigsaw puzzle site!

Even as 2025 is around the corner, do you ever get the itch to play old-school-style action games? You know, the ones you used to play on the NES or the Sega Saturn? The Lair really captures that essence.

You might not know its name, but you’ve probably played a Sokoban puzzle before. Pushing around the blocks and boxes is very therapeutic, and the feeling you get from clearing a level in one go, especially the more difficult ones, is something you can’t describe!

Frankly, some of the games we’ve found are of very astounding quality, more so than usual, and Nomad Idle is one of them. Sure, there are so many idle games nowadays, especially on mobile platforms, but not all of them carry this level of polish and passion. And best of all, this one’s free!

We close off 2024’s last newsletter with a fitting quote from Rainer Maria Rilke, an Austrian poet and novelist:
“And now we welcome the new year. Full of things that have never been.”
